About the Item
Great Signed Cenedese set of 8 historical goblets, highly detailed.
The stem is made by a twisted solid glass surmounted by a small blown sphere and a typical Cenedese neck. On the side high elaborated wings "alette" with a pinched cadmium red application.
Cenedese was inspired by the 18th century glass from the Murano Museum. See reference Calice ad Alette page 18, Attilia Dorigato, Murano Il vetro a Tavola Ieri e Oggi, Murano Museo Vetrario, La Stamperia di Venezia Editrice.
Very rare to have a set of 8 glass, while these kind of glass are nowadays available only as unique collector's pieces.
Fits perfectly in a maximalist design. Rare and unique.
