This is a rare and amazing amethyst overlay cut to clear stemware service for 12 made and signed by Webb ca. 1920's. The 36 piece set consists of large scale goblets including water, wines and champagnes-everything you need for a perfect table setting in such an unusual color! The amethyst contrasting the masterful, detailed cutting of the clear body takes your breath away! Not only do they feel great in the hand but they hold the perfect amount of your favorite beverage. The purple amethyst is rich and vibrant and also blends nicely with turquoise and greens as well and creates a dramatic display on a backbar.
The measurements are as follows:
The waters are 6.5" tall x 3.75" diameter
The wines are 5.75" tall x 3.13" diameter
The champagne coupes are 5.13" tall x 4" diameter.

This is a complete hand blown Venetian stemware service made by Salviati, circa 1920s. The 36 piece set consists of 12 each of water goblets, wine goblets and champagne coupes, each one featuring a figural golden yellow swan connector and applied rigaree. The color is a soft purple/amethyst with gold leaf inclusions which works nicely with a pastel palette.
