Tall Georgian Balustroid Wine Glass, c1750 Additional information: Period : George II Origin : England Colour : Clear Bowl : Bell-shaped with strong pucella marks Stem : Plain with a medial angular knop containing a large tear extending down through the lower part of the stem, and a small basal ball-knop Foot : Folded and conical Pontil : Snapped Glass Type : Lead Size : 17.4 cm height Diameter bowl : 7.5 cm Diameter foot: 7.6 cm Condition : Excellent, no chips or cracks; there is a small nick at the junction of bowl and stem, and the bowl contains three bubbles, one of which is blistered (outwards) but not burst Restoration : None
