Very Rare Victorian Hardwood Liqueur Box with Cranberry Glass Decanters Glasses

About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely very rare and highly collectable early Victorian rosewood marquetry inlaid Liquor box A very good looking well made and original early Victorian piece. The case is Rosewood and has the word Liquor marquetry inlaid into the front in script Inside you find a locked tray, you need to press the depression switch to release it, you can then take out a very fine handled tray which holds four decanters and 16 small glasses, all of which seem original however one is a lighter color, I’m not sure if it’s a replacement or was just left out in the sunlight for a few decades The glasses are all cranberry glass and beautifully engraved, I love antique glass and this set really makes having a tipple with your friends and family a sense of occasion We have cleaned waxed and polished this from top to bottom.
