Mid Century German Carved Antler Four Piece Carving Set

Hand crafted in Germany circa 1950, this exquisite cutlery set comprises four stainless steel pieces, each adorned with intricately carved handles and complete original box. The set includes a pair of poultry shears featuring a serrated blade, spring tension, locking mechanism, and beautifully carved bird motifs on the handles. The carving knife is a masterpiece, showcasing detailed engravings of a tree, gun, and golden powder horn along the blade. The handle boasts a stag etched into the antler handle. A honing steel is included to maintain the sharpness of the carving blade, the hilt of the knife sharpener features a hunter motif, complete with a hunting dog at his feet. Completing the set is a meat carving fork with a convenient folding stand, ensuring the fork stays elevated off the table. The serving utensil is adorned with a gold powder horn surrounded by lush green foliage, and the handle is intricately carved with a doe motif.
