1930s French Art Deco Silverplate Animal Knife Rests Set After Benjamin Rabier

Add a touch of whimsical elegance and sophistication to your dinner party with this boxed set of twelve fine French Art Deco silver plated figural animal knife rests. circa 1930s Born in France in the early/mid-20th century, styled in the manner of famous French illustrator and animator Benjamin Rabier (1864–1939), featuring six unique sculptural designs, including seated and hunting dog, hare, elephant, parrot, and pelican with a fish in its beak, presented in a silk lined fitted box. Dimensions: (approx) Box: 1.25" High, 13.5" wide, 7.5" deep; 1.75 lbs total. Each knife rest approx 3.75" long, 1" high Great original antique / vintage condition. Presents well. May have minor age appropriate wear, including lightly patinated - tarnished. Case exterior shows signs of wear.
