An exceptional, fine and impressive vintage Elizabeth II English sterling silver six-piece condiment set in the Art Deco style - boxed; an addition to our dining silverware collection. This exceptional vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver six piece condiment set consists of two salts, two pepper pots and two mustard pots. The pieces of this Fine vintage condiment set have a cylindrical rounded form onto a circular spreading foot, in the Art Deco style. The surface of each piece is plain and encircled with bands of tooled decoration. The mustard pots are fitted with angular sterling silver handles with an elevated thumbpiece. Each mustard pot has a hinged hallmarked plain domed cover. The pepper pots are fitted with push fit hallmarked covers with pierced 'pepper' holes and a ribbed border to the rim. The covers to each of the mustard pots and pepper pots are encircled with further tooled decoration and surmounted by a sterling silver ball style finial. Each salt and mustard pot is fitted with a removable blue glass liner. This condiment set is presented with the original fully hallmarked mustard spoons and an associated pair of English sterling silver salt spoons. This vintage condiment set is fitted to the original hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior and secures with a hinged catch. The interior of the box bears the retailer's mark Walker & Hall, Sheffield. Dimensions: Mustard Pot: Length from back of handle to rim 6.5cm/2.6". Diameter of rim 4.7cm/1.9".
