Mid-Century Modernist Peter Muller-Munk, Collection Griswold Symbol Cook Ware, circa 1962. Cookware. 12 Covered pieces, plus one extra lid. Only 9 pictured in the main pic. Please see rest of pics for total. Plus one loose orange lid. 13 total Iconic Culinary Design collection 12 midcentury vintage original designs by Muller Munk (PMMA) for Griswold, circa 1962-1966. Post his Art Deco / Machine Age Industrial designs. Very sophisticated contemporary look for the Modern entertainer, transforming Griswold from their typical cast iron ware. Main picture shows nine pieces; see second picture for the remaining two pieces, rare three-quart saucepan and Rare 8" skillet. Heavy porcelain enameled steel covers with polished aluminium-alloy bodies and integral cast bases. All pieces in the line in virtually all available color and handle configurations, including the rare all-polished aluminium models. Original fold-out brochure and two internal racks included. Bakelite handles. Featured in several Museum Design collections, most notably the Carnegie Museum of Art where PMMA were located.
