19th Century Mongolian Style Gilt Metal, Jade & Hardstones Large Ewer, c.1890
About the Item
Antique 19th century Mongolian-style hardstone and jade-inlaid gilt metal ewer, the pear-shaped body embellished with corals, turquoises and lapislazuli, the large handle mounted with a jade "dragon" belt-hook, each side is inset with a very large ruyi-shaped jade medallion, the cover is surmounted by a jade finial, a large decorative spout issuing from the mouth of a makara.

In Great Condition - No Damage.
