20th Century Italian Solid Silver Pitcher, Water Jug
About the Item
Pitcher in 800 silver handmade in Italy.
The jug was made from a silver plate, shaped and welded.
The imposing base of the jug, round in shape, is hammered and proportioned to give perfect stability to the whole object.
The body branches out from the bottom upwards with a rounded and growing shape, ending in the upper part with a wavy design where the spout has been obtained which perfectly pours the internal liquid.
The handle was made with the fusion technique and is equipped with a small spout which makes it safe to grip during use.
Very elegant and balanced object. both in shapes and proportions.
Made in Italy in Florence by the famous Brandimarte silversmith
for Arval Argenti Valenza.
