We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning original circa 1780 – 1800 Georgian Copper & Brass 2 Gallon Pitcher jug I have two of these, the second jug is a later Victorian example and is listed under my other items The jug has all the correct legal measure stamps and hallmarks that were needed at the time to prove it was an exact 2 gallon measure, you can tell the age via these stamps and because it has the copper stitched join line down the handle side The condition is sublime for the age, totally original, it has been nicely polished and is super decorative Dimensions Height:- 30.5cm Width:- 28.5cm Depth:- 36cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid.
