About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning original circa 1860-1880 Victorian Copper & Brass 2 Gallon Pitcher jug. I have two of these, the second jug is an earlier Georgian example and is listed under my other items. The jug has all the correct legal measure stamps and hallmarks that were needed at the time to prove it was an exact 2 gallon measure. The condition is sublime for the age, totally original, it has been nicely polished and is super decorative. Dimensions Height:- 30.5cm Width:- 32cm Depth:- 37cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask.
