Japanese Sumida Gawa ceramic pitcher, c. 1890-1910

Japanese Sumida Gawa pottery pitcher decorated in a relief of two boys playing. The makers underglaze cobalt blue signature can be seen on an applied plaque. It is one of the marks of Inoue Ryosai. Japan, made for the Western trade, circa 1890-1910.
