Large Early 19th Century French Hammered Copper Jug Pitcher

About the Item

A superb large early 19th century French hand-hammered copper pitcher or jug. This gorgeous jug is solid and heavy weighing over 11 lbs, hand forged with copper rivets, dovetail seam, and a lovely swing handle. It has a beautiful patina and is in amazing condition for its age. Add this remarkable pitcher to a copper collection, display with a bouquet of flowers, or use as a statement piece in any room. It measures 16.5 inches to the top of the spout and 19.25 inches to the top of the handle when extended. The diameter of the opening is 8.25 inches. Dimension 11"W × 10"D × 16.5"H.
