About the Item

A beautifully crafted silver-plated pitcher by Los Castillo, one of Taxco’s most iconic silversmithing families. This piece features stylized cut-out bird and floral motifs inlaid with shimmering abalone and mother-of-pearl, showcasing the studio's signature fusion of natural themes and modernist aesthetics. The arched handle is richly detailed with layered abalone shell, adding vivid texture and color. This collectible vessel reflects the mid-century design sensibility that made Taxco silver internationally sought-after. Elegant enough for display and functional for service, it makes a striking statement in both modern and eclectic interiors. Stamped: Los Castillo, Taxco, Hecho en México, Plateado TA-01, Model 206. Dimensions: 5.25 in. high × 4.75 in. wide × 6 in. deep (including handle)
