About the Item

Beautiful and rare set of 6 cups and a Pitcher in Murano glass, all executed in the ‘Zanfirico’ technique, invented in 19th century and involves twisting and shaping glass canes to create intricate, spiral patterns and requires a master glass blower to achieve it and comparable to other works of the Fratelli Toso production. Each cup features the same pattern in colorful ribbons and aventurine glass, whilst the pitcher has a gold leaf handle. Measurements: The pitcher measures 16 cm tall with a 12 cm diameter at the top and 17 cm widht considering the handle. Cups measure 7.5 cm at their widest point and 11 cm tall. There are no damages to any of these pieces. Note: If considering these as functional pieces in your collection we advise you to mind the fragility of the pieces, the jug should not be held by the handle if filled with liquid as the weight could cause it to break.
