Date : 1960-80
Origin : Murano, Italy
Bowl Features : Yellow glass with light orange lip handle and trailing. The glassmaker has utilised the scavo technique - the application of various substances to the exterior of the glass which, when heated, fuse to give a weathered effect. Scavo transaltes to excavation - the intenet was to give the glass an antique look and feel. This technique was particularly popular at Cenedese and has also be widely used by Carlo Moretti and Riggateri
