A six-piece set of hand-blown purple art glass pitcher and glasses, late 20th c

About the Item

A set comprising six pieces of purple art glass barware: one pitcher and five tumblers, late 20th century. Possibly from Italy. Each piece features an intricate hand-blown spiral in frosted art glass. The shade of purple is a lovely deep aubergine which casts brilliant violet shadows and positively glows in the right light. With only one previous owner, this gorgeous set is clean and in wonderful condition, hailing from the estate of a private collection rife with blue chip art and iconic twentieth century decor and design.
