Two Pewter Wine Jugs from the Wiener Zin Manufacture Dated 1837

About the Item

A set of two pewter wine jugs from the Wiener Zin manufacture ,dated 1837. These polished pewter wine jugs exhibit beautiful flowing forms that emphasis the visual softness of pewter. I have photographed these objects in another setting, illuminated with sun light, to bring out there form. The larger jug holds 3.5 liter of wine or water. The heavy mass of the pewter keeps a constant temperature for whats being served. Ideal Veltliner. The smaller jug holds a little bit less than two liter. Considering there age they are in wonderful condition.
