Victorian Silver Plate Water Pitcher with Ballon Engraving

About the Item

This elegant and superbly made pitcher was manufactured by C. Webster and Brothers. This pitcher was made around the time that Paul Haenlein flew the first internal combustion motor powered balloon. This pitcher celebrates flight in all forms. The wings that adorn the finial on the lid of this pitcher further emphasizes the flight motif of this pitcher.
