18th Century Georgian Mahogany Plate Bucket 'England, circa 1790'

18th Century (1790s, Georgian Period) English mahogany plate bucket with original pivoting brass handle. This bucket would originally have been made to stand in the dining room and house a pile of plates, hence hole cut out of one side, to allow a hand to be placed under the plates and lift them out.
