1926 George I Style Sterling Silver Tazza

About the Item

An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V sterling silver tazza made in the George I style; part of our ornamental silverware collection. This exceptional antique George I sterling silver tazza has a plain dodecagon, rounded paneled form onto a pedestal foot, in the classic George I style. The surface of this antique silver tazza is plain and unembellished. The raised rounded border and foot are encompassed with applied moulded decoration to the rims. The underside of the tazza bears the retailer's mark 'Ollivant & Botsford, Manchester'. Condition This antique sterling silver tazza is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks to the surface of the tazza are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the superior gauge of silver. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this example of antique silverware.
