20th Century Antique Edwardian George I Style Sterling Silver Waiter

About the Item

A fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver waiter in the George I style; an addition to our dining silverware collection. This fine antique sterling silver waiter has a plain square form with shaped corners, in the George I style. The surface of this Edwardian waiter is plain and unembellished. The raised rounded border of this antique waiter is encompassed with plain applied moulded decoration to the shaped rim. This antique waiter is supported by four impressive hoof style feet. The underside of the waiter bears the retailer's mark 'Lambert, Coventry street, London'. Condition This antique Edwardian waiter is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the waiter are very clear.
