About the Item

A rare and very unusual gravy boat with matching stand. It is marked Paris around 1819-1838 in solid silver 950. Particularly fine silversmithing, the elaboration with the handle as a swan head very beautiful and also quite practical to it. Circumferential frieze, which is repeated in the stand. the back as well as the inside with a palm leaf, the stand provided with claw feet. The weight is 620 gr solid silver, the dimensions of the gravy boat alone H 22.5cm, length 21cm depth 10.5cm, the stand H 3.5cm length 26cm depth 15.5cm. The object fits very nicely in the hand and pours beautifully.
