19th Century Spongeware Bowl

About the Item

19th century New England spongeware bowl in excellent condition. This stunning serving or fruit bowl has a wonderful shape and would make a beautiful centerpiece for any early Americana inspired dining table. The design is fashioned in cobalt blue on white crockery with blue sponged decoration in an overall pattern with a fluted rim. There are no cracks or chips.
