A LOT OF 3 PORSGRUND SERVING DISHES “Bogstad Straw” pattern close to Royal Copenhagen. Norway, green printed marks, early 20th century. includes; Square Salad Bowl. 7 1/8" x 7 3/8" in.,(18 x 18.7 cm.) Moulded Serving Dish 8 1/4" x 8 1/4" in.,(21 x 21 cm.) Moulded Serving Platter 9" x 5 3/4" in.,(22.8 x 14.5 cm.) All in perfect condition. High-fired porcelain is considered to be the best quality, characterized by a translucent white colour and a clear, glossy glaze. It consists of pure natural materials, is 100% dense, very robust and suitable both for everyday use as well as special occasions. White porcelain from Porsgrund was traditionally called "the white gold", this confirming the high status of porcelain in Norway during the 1900's.
