Antique Statfordshire Platter With Temple Warriors

About the Item

Antique platter having brown transfer Temple Warriors scene depicting native figures with temple-like buildings, a warrior on horseback to the right. The platter featuring India image #7 from Transferware Collectors Club database. Marks to underside include printed "6" and impressed rectangular symbol. William Adams IV & Sons, Stoke, England. Second quarter 19th century. Dimensions: 17 3/4" x 14 5/8" x 3/4" Condition: Please see detail photos. No chips, or cracks. There is glaze wear around the rim, scratches, discolorations, fine crazing, tiny ding lower right below the horseman all mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is Classically Georgianand fine.
