A huge art nouveau tray by Villeroy & Boch, Dresden, Germany, circa 1900, with a metal frame attributed to Bayerische Metallwarenfabrik Nuremberg—BMF.
Stoneware, oval, Art Nouveau decoration, dark green transparent glaze with black/gold clover tendrils. Jugendstil floral decor in black and gold on green background. Marked to the backside (illegible rest mark from Villeroy & Boch). Mounting made of silver-plated brass. Excellent condition according to its age.
