Butterfly wing and inlaid wood tray Fascinating handcrafted serving tray, created from a fabulous array of delicate butterfly wings laid out in intricate patterns pressed down under glass. In vibrant colours, especially when caught by the light, with a selection giving a wonderful Iridescent hologram effect which is stunning. With decorative wooden inlay framing the perimeter. Reminiscent of a Damien Hurst, this object would fit in nicely with a contemporary decor just as much as a traditional one. This luxurious, unique and desirable piece could be a collectable for a collator of taxidermy, or appeal to an interior designer, perhaps even hung on a wall as opposed to used as a functional item, or a beautiful display tray for candles and curiosities.
