Catene Nero Round Platter by Gio Ponti

About the Item

This elegant round platter can be used alone, to serve food on an elegant occasion, or combined with the other items of the Catene collection in the Nero series, with their timeless design painted in striking black, for a magnificent effect on a dining table. Created by iconic designer Gio Ponti in 1926, this minimalist garland evokes the pattern of a chain, hence the name of the collection in Italian. The name of the series hints at the color, a modern choice, and a superb contrast with the white background and the gold details on the rim.
