This handcrafted tray features the “60s” pattern by Ruda Studio, created using traditional straw marquetry techniques. The surface is composed of individually dyed, flattened rye straw arranged in a precise geometric composition. Shades of beige, blue, and teal give the tray a luminous, iridescent quality that shifts with the light. A polished brass edge frames the circular form, adding a warm metallic contrast to the organic texture of the straw. Designed and made in Ukraine, this piece blends decorative function with artisanal craftsmanship. The color palette and dimensions can be customized upon request, as each piece is fully handmade using painted straw in the studio.

RUDA Studio
RUDA is a multidisciplinary design studio, was founded by Oleksandra Rudenko and Yuriy Vovnyanko in Odesa, Ukraine. The main focus of the studio — space design and the creation of unique household items. During the creation process, we seek to make each project individual and special, focusing on feelings, custom items, and the combination of the historical and the modern. RUDA Studio researches folk artisans' techniques of our country of origin, we decided to bring traditional marquetry to contemporary use. "Our projects are about returning to the origins. We strive to restore the value of handicrafts and individual products. In our subjects we update the topics of conservation of the Earth's natural resources and human interaction with nature," says the studio's founder Oleksandra Rudenko.
