His creations are often composed of natural elements: natural pigments from soil, tar, metallic powders, recycled man-made materials (road signs) but also rust that has been collected on the boat hulls. Denis Perollaz creates pieces of art that are combination of elements discovering balance and expressing the forgotten relationship between a man and nature. The pieces are often in forms of astral figures, planets, trees or even the horizons, where our eyes can lose themselves wondering.
