About the Item
Edwardian Georgian sterling silver tray. Made by Henry Matthews in Birmingham in 1903. Rectangular with twisted fluted sides and flared and scalloped rim. Well has embossed angel’s heads after Joshua Reynolds’ painting from the late 1780s; scroll and diaper surround. Fully marked. Weight: 6.6 troy ounces.
