English Staffordshire Serving Dish

About the Item

This serving dish has a shield shape with red and blue floral and leaf designs. While there is no identifying mark the decoration, glaze, and shape of the underfoot would indicate a date of manufacture circa mid-19th century. The gilding has noticeable wear.
