French Sarreguemines Majolica Oyster Service Dinner Plates

About the Item

French majolica oyster service including 11 plates and one serving platter. With intricate detail and a warm, semi-transparent brown glaze covering whole surface of each plate. Large platter having spots for 12 oysters, and small plates having spots for 5. This lovely vintage collection is reminiscent of the 60's and 70's in color and style and would complement a home with similar decor. Mid 20th century.
