A large Hicks & Meigh Staffordshire meat platter, decorated with peonies and a willow tree in the Japan colors of cobalt blue and orange with gilding. The back has the blue printed mark “Stone China” no. 7 with the royal coat-of-arms with an inner escutcheon.
