Holdcroft Majolica 7-piece salmon service, English, circa 1875, including a platter, naturalistically molded as a salmon on a bed of seaweeds; on a molded ground simulating moving water, glazed in turquoise blue, with shell form handles molded in high relief; Impressed 'J HOLDCROFT' on reverse; along with six matching 10-in plates, each with impressed mark 'J. HOLDCROFT'.
In excellent antique condition, with no damage, repair, or restoration.
Measurements: Platter--D-9 x W-22 x H-2 inches. Six plates--Diameter-10 x height-1 inches.
