Large "Castle of Rochefort" Platter, circa 1830


19th century platter in the "Castle of Rochefort" pattern by Brameld, circa 1830. This castle has been overlooking the town of Rochefort in Belgium since 1155. The pattern has a lovely floral pattern in the border and has a central scene of a young man and woman with a fishing pole and basket, with the castle in the background a river behind them.
