Mirrored Chinese Tea Tray with Floral Carvings, c. 1900
About the Item
Dovetail joinery and carved floral scrollwork add charming detail to the simple lines of this century-old provincial tray. The rectangular tray has developed great character from years of serving tea, likely for friends and family gathered on traditional kang daybeds. We've installed a smoked rose colored mirror to the base to transform the rustic tray into an elevated serving platter or wall mirror.
