A monumental (16" diameter) enamel by Bovano produced for Met Life Centennial Sales Congress, 1967. "Finely ground crystals are fused to treated metal surfaces at high temperatures to create brilliant, iridescent surfaces, equaling preciuos stones in texture and appearance. As many as twenty-five different steps are required to handcraft each piece of Bovano"
