About the Item

A very fine pair of George III Feather edge ice cream spades made in London in 1809 by Richard Crossley and George Smith The Ice Cream Spades are modelled in the Old English Feather Edge pattern with shoulders at the bottom of the stem. Both have an upturned spade shaped bowl and are very well marked on the reverse. Each piece is in excellent condition and is of a very good gauge.
