Porcelain Platter with Noble Crest with Crown, 18th Century China A beautiful Chinese porcelain platter with blue edges and elaborate red decor. Features crest of European noble family; escutcheon with chevron pattern of azure and or (blue and gold), featuring silver roses in azure field. Topped with eagle stretching its wings out from its body and bearing a crown of possibly marquess rank. Complete with motto of In Sublime, approximately meaning On High in Latin. Wear consistent with age and use.
