Pair KPM Porcelain Plaques After Franz Lefler

About the Item

Large 19th century KPM plaques hand-painted by Dittrich after the original paintings by the Czech master, Franz Lefler (1831-1898), depicting children singing and playing string instruments. Measures: 13 by 7 3/4 and 13 1/4 by 7 7/8 inches. Rears with the KPM marks and hand-written titles, Ständchen nach F. Leffler (Serenade after F. Leffler), and Gesang nach F. Leffler (Singing after F. Leffler). Each in very good condition, with some light scratches.
