A Ridgway Porcelain part Dessert Service in pattern 1045 c.1825

About the Item

A finely decorated John & William Ridgway porcelain dessert service in pattern 1045 c.1825. The central well of each piece decorated with the scene of ruins / a castle / a house or a cottage in a landscape setting, with a dark underglaze blue ground with fish scale gilding, vines and yellow ground panels containing gilded butterflies. Each piece marked with pattern 1045 in red.  Consisting of 7 plates and 1 fruit bowl. Condition: Hairline crack to the central well of the fruit bowl and a small amount of surface wear to some of the plates
