19th Century Signed Quimper Bow with Lug Handles

About the Item

A beautiful old Quimper bowl signed HB Quimper. It is hand painted with the image of a Breton woman in traditional costume walking through a forest, featuring tree and flower motifs. This piece dates to the late 1800s. There is a slight rubbing on the lug handles commensurate with age and use, as the bowl is presumably over 120 years old. Rose and blue floral and green leaf designs on the exterior. The interior and exterior of the bowl are rimmed in the Quimper hallmark blue, as well as the base on the exterior. Signed HB Quimper
