Blue and white Swansea Willow pattern plate

About the Item

This blue and white Swansea earthenware plate is decorated with their transfer printed standard Willow pattern. It is in very good condition, but does have some smudging of the pattern in spots, mainly to the border. It measures 262 mm (10.25 inches) in diameter, and stands 25 mm (1 inch) high. It carries the impressed Dillwyn & Co. mark and dates from the period 1811-17.
