Malcolm Leland Large Sculptural Bisque Ceramic Vase, 1950s

About the Item

A fantastic and uncommon ceramic "Bird's Mouth" vase by Malcolm Leland, made some time around 1957. This unglazed bisque example is incredibly rare. It sports some 70 years of jaw dropping patina, as can be seen in the photos. This large sculptural vessel is as light as a feather, which just goes to show the incredible workmanship of the piece. It is in immaculate vintage condition without and chips or cracks whatsoever.
