Massive English Creamware Pottery Yellow & Botanical Basin, John Shorthose, Shorthose & Heath, 1795-1815 The massive English creamware deep basin has a plain creamware center with the borders painted with a repeating wave of yellow with polychrome plants growing out of each. Mark: Impressed Shorthose & Heath (considered a rare mark) & an impressed "L9" Dimensions: 17 inches diameter x 2 1/4 inches Shorthose & Heath, Shelton (Hanley), Circa 1795-1815. Also used the mark Shorthose & Co. (Ref: NY10131-marx).
