Astonishing Vase sculpture in textured sandstone evoking the generous shapes of a seed.
This sensual and dense piece is typical of the modernist creations of the Madoura studio in the 1970s.
Atelier Madoura is inseparable from the ceramic work of Pablo Picasso and its founder Suzanne Ramié.
Energetic and visionary, she actively supported the pottery center in moving from traditional pottery to Art ceramics.
Her creations are recognizable by the simplicity of the shapes and the perfection of the enamelling.
This piece is in its perfect original condition and has not been subject to any restoration.
Like all the Artist's pieces, it is signed with the stamp "Madoura Plein Feu"
