Aaron Hadfield Sheffield George IV Sterling Silver and Mother of Pearl fish or dessert flatware for 12, 1828. Beautiful hand carved shells to the Mother of Pearl handles. Aaron Hadfield silver hallmarks to the blades and tines. In original wooden box. Additional information: Featured Refinements: Mother of Pearl Flatware Age: 1800-1849 Composition: Sterling Silver Brand: Sheffield Type: Flatware Set Dimension: Knife: 8 inches length / Fork: 6.25 inches / Box: 12.75 inches x 9.5 inches x 2.75 inches tall Condition: Excellent age related condition. Signs of wear consisting of little use. One of the forks with a tiny flat chip to the Mother of Pearl to the tip of the handle. Minor wear to the box- one split to the edge and does not come with a key.

The surface of each handle is embellished with a paralleling thread decorated border accented with a shell design to the terminal and reverse of each bowl.
